[Closed] Holidaying in the French location of the Auvergne - recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I'm after recommendations for a couple of weeks of R&R in September (first couple of weeks probably) in the Auvergne - always wanted to go 🙂

Requirements:

Gite/cottage, not camping
Some sort of community, not a lone remote dwelling
Toddler friendly (not sure what that means, but other kids around would be fun)
Easy access to lovely biking/walking territory
