I get the job of collecting excised colons from theatre, taking it to pathology at a different hospital (in a bucket by tube)

Watching as the bowel as cut open and cleaned and then getting some juicy tumours cut out and then going back to my institute extracting the and microdissecting the dysplastic crypts for DNA sequencing

There is a whole world of bowel medicine and research out there

On the whole its stinky
