Aw that's a shame - he was lovely and a wicked boxer

A brutal competitor, his record of 40(27)-14-1 belies a cult hero regarded by many as the best boxer never to hold a world title.

Sad news. Not a big fan of boxing but some people transcend their sport and he was most definitely one of them.

Sad news indeed - a decent bloke and a proper scrapper.

he was a lovely man but a rubbish boxer how many world titles did he ever win none. he was not in the same class as clay liston frazier or even tyson. same as bruno a lovely man but a great boxer never in a million years.

LOL - not as good as Muhammad Ali = rubbish. Leave it out mate.
Henry was very good - Clay / Liston / Frazier / Tyson are in the top 20 heavyweights of the past 120 years - not being in their class does not equal rubbish, obviously.

The Bruno comparison is a good one - a gatekeeper fighter who is at that top level were he can compete on the world stage, but not quite good enough to join the elite of the time.

He was never a world title holder, but it was a lot harder in Henry's day. Better fighters and far fewer belts.

Bigger news that Bin Laden (in my opinion). Great man, RIP Henry.

Just seen this on the paper. Sad. Our 'Enry was a lovely fella. Great left hook.
Always impressed by how gutted he was to be stopped against Clay when his face was fallng to pieces!

He would of been a cruiser weight if he was fighting now, a great boxer.
