I've been given a Bosch hedge trimmer but it's missing a power cable. The plug on trimmer is one of these:

but I haven't a clue what it's called and what I need to get to connect it to the mains power. Can anyone help please?

No, really. It's no standard I'm aware of. I found this though:

I think it's a repaired cable, the other end is obviously missing.
Cut it off and fit a normal plug?
Oh, hang on, do you mean that's the bit you've actually got and you need the other end? That plug is hard-wired into the trimmer?

Sorry, should have said in my first post - the cord on the trimmer is about 30cm long and has that plug pictured attached to the end of it.
I've seen the handy roll but the other end looks like it has the same kind of plug on it so not really much use....
Looks like I'm going to need to buy one of those connectors that nickjb has posted and some cable!
