How do I get an MP3 file to play throughout the presentation (just 1 song) while the slides change automatically on timed?
Also how would I include some AVI files on some of the slides for the same presentation?

I think you just need to insert an object, suspect it's in one of the drop-down menus off the main menu bar TBH. The help files in the prog. are pretty good for stepping you through it, i've found before :wink:.
I guess the MP3 would have to go on the master slide as an embedded object, whereas the video files obviously only get embedded on the pages you want.

Infact, knowing MS stuff these days, I'd bet you could probably just drag & drop the filts into the slide where you want & it would sort it out for you!
