If I buy a USB dongle and plug it into a laptop will it allow me to get on the interweb assuming there's a mobile signal?
If so, can anyone recommend a supplier that does a PAYG one please. The MIL needs interweb access at a hospital where there's no public WiFi.
She's active on eBay and that's about it. No downloads or streaming required.

Yep, but check if her laptop has a sim card slot first. Some do these days which saves buying a dongle.
Will the hospital allow her to use it though? They can be funny about mobiles.
Only in the restaurant apparently and the signals pap in there.
She also needs it for where she's staying as he's in for a few weeks (full heart transplant)
