Hi all, my mum has been acknowledged today as being profoundly deaf, one of her ears is useless, and the other is poor even with a digital hearing aid.
Her new hearing aid has an induction loop setting, anyone use one of these with a compatible landline?, I'm waiting to have her house assessed for other aids, like flashing door bells etc, but that may take a while, so I thought I'd get her a phone if it would help/work....any experiences?

I'm profoundly deaf in both ears, best loop system I've used is the Nokia lps-5 if you can get hold of one. Very good, works well with mobile and anything with Bluetooth connectivity.
