I am going to replace the fork on my steel Genesis Equilibrium with a through-axle fork. The head tube diameter is upper 34mm and lower 44mm.
Looking at what forks are available on eBay, there seem to be a lot of 1 1/8 - 1 1/4 tapered steerer forks, but suitable headsets with 1 1/4 lowers seem more difficult to find. (e.g. Hope don't do them in that size at all)
Any ideas of who makes a suitable headset?
Do you mean 1 1.4 or 1 1/2 lower cup? Hope make an EC44 cup for 1 1/2.

You can fit a 1 1/8-1 1/2 tapered fork with an EC34 upper and EC44 lower assembly with a 40mm crown race. Plenty of brands make them.
