I ask as I have just been listening to Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London".

This is a song which meant that I once went to Trader Vic's. To drink a piña colada. My hair, however, was not perfect.

Not exactly, but...

As I walked out of my last exam after my second year at Uni, there were some builders on site and their radio was playing Cast - Walk away!
Which is exactly what I did and never went back, as I right there, had decided it wasn't for me and wasn't prepared to waste a third year there!

A combination of the House Martins "do yourself a favour, give yourself a break, that's one risk you'll never take" and JJ Goldman "J'irai au bout de mes rêves, où la raison s'achève, tout au bout de mes rêves".

So I took the risk, took a break and I'm now I'm living the dream I had then.

I went to America to work, and in the months before I went then I kept singing to anyone that would listen.

Plan to go to America when I get a visa card,
Getting a visa card nowadays isn't hard.

Name that song
Was a few years ago..

I bought a guitar to punish my mum. But that was before I'd heard the song. So it doesn't count. Sorry.

There's a line in an old REM song that says "when you meet a stranger, look at their shoes." I do that quite a bit.

When I first went to Canada I took a look down the rail track but couldn't see Miami.

Perhaps it only works one way?

That's how you tell an extroverted goth. They look at your shoes rather than their own.

I heard some howling round my back door last night, and I didn't let him in. I wanted to meet his tailor though.

I believe Lon Chaney was once inspired to go for a walk to the Queen

I once tried to blame it on the sunshine.I even briefly considered blaming it on the moonlight or the good times. But after listening to carefully the song,I was convinced the blame lay squarely on the boogie.

Was once found huddled in a corner wearing earphones and listening to Sub-Humans at full belt...

....and cuddling an axe.

I saw my doctor soon after that and got some happy pills. I don't do winter very well.
