Is there a decent guide book for the area that anyone can recommend.
Have been a few times in winter so I know the area pretty well, but always biked in the 3 valleys.

Standard vtopo book. To be honest you'll get more by buying the IGN maps or looking around on geoportal.gouv.fr ( online IGN) and searching here as tons or routes discussed and shared. The various bike parks and resorts have their own websites.

'Bikefax Morzine' fitted the bill a few years ago. Probably been updated since I used it in 2009.
