No, but I have used his sons Bong (in his bedroom) which makes things a bit 'wobbly' for a few moments 😆

I was stuck doing the 2nd heist for 3 hours as I didnt realise I had to take Michael to the B.... I had taken the other two to the B and exhausted all telephone conversations....

On the plus side i did get to fine the cable car, go hunting with cletus and drink some whiskey at home!

I cant wait to get home and get some more playing done.

Just robbed a bank in Paleto Bay.Came out wearing ballistic gear and holding a mini gun.

...and yes and no. There are several areas of the app. You can train up Chop and what he learns can be replicated in the game. Also you can access all your cars and make changes/upgrades. Other stuff in there which i have not looked at yet.

I guess this is the point where not owning a smart phone will finally impact on my life.

Has anyone noticed the bought vehicle glitches? I had a pimped out range rover...took it to travel to a mission and it went missing. Wasnt where it was left, wasnt in my garage and wasnt in the impound.

Theres no point in having a system to customise and purchase cars if they go missing so easily.

I have noticed that you always seem to end up in a character's original car even if you rock up in a different one. Lost my Coil that way 🙁

There's storage garages for the cars and vehicles, they can also be stolen when multiplayer is released people can steal your cars too.

Why are people posting cheats? Cheating in games makes playing utter pointless even more so when it's just been out a few days..

They don't significantly affect the game, do they? If you think they are pointless you have the option not to use them, as I haven't 🙂

People doing it right off the bat makes no sense to me. However, once I have played the game into the ground in about 6 months or so, I will partake in the odd cheat code.

It depends though. If you're just taking it in turns with some mates to have a killing spree, you want to have a load of weapons. This is what cheats were made for!

If you're doing the missions then yeah maybe you should buy the guns etc.

TBH by the time youve done all of trevs missions then there are plenty enough guns and explosives to choose from.

Still....love to find the rocket launcher tho.

Has anyone managed to teach chop a trick on the app and then used it in the game yet? Also where sis the best place to store and save a stolen jet so you can access it anytime?

I had that happen with a Porsche. Left it by the cable car while I took a bike down the road and back and it had vanished. Nicked a pickup truck, drove round the corner and it was parked up by a hot dog van so got in it and drove off.

As a poster of a cheat code, I apologise, unreservedly. 😉

I use a seperate save for trying out the cheat codes. I think any mission achievements are not recorded if you use them aren't they...

Nah. It's not like Civilization. That bugger could destroy your life. Get home from work, start playing, look at the clock, it's now the next day and time to go to work, call in sick...repeat.

Note to self; doing constant donuts In the Aston Martin will blow both it's tyres leaving you stranded.

Is it just me that thinks this is not significantly better than the last GTA then?

I mean its technically brilliant, ie what it manages to do with the xbox360/ps3 hardware is nothing short of amazing, but the gameplay is just the same as the previous games, a few tweaks here and there, but essentially you've played it before.

I dont think I'll be playing it much, theres nothing new here.

I thought that at first, good, but nothing special. 4 hours later when I'm flying a naked micheal through the city whilst tripping my tits off, I'm pretty sure I'm onto something better!

this game is weird. One moment a mexican chap is being introduced to a rather large torch, then a very sick interrogation scene followed by being drugged by my own son and being abducted by aliens!

However, I still think its great!

It's just little moments of perfection that get me. Belting along a proper US freeway in a trans am listening to cheesey rock and a flick to the rear view shows 3 lanes of cops, duck across the grass drainage ditch, wheelspinning 180 turn and a huge chrome semi barrels into the cops.., cut to scenic view

It's the silly moments like that. I unlocked Trevor last night whilst blazing through the desert on my quad for one if the mission he hits a dingo "10 Points" he shouts in his psychotic voice it had me creased.

On a similar not to yours before logging off last night I went on rampage in a rig, during the cop chase I tried to leap down into one of the water ways. The police car followed and due to his higher momentum he flew over the top of exploding into the wall, the knock on effect was blew up my rig.

I had to re-do Trevor's 'blow up the meth lab' mission about half a dozen times. Every time he did that little schtick about killing every one of them, then taking out the cook-house, I doubled up. Just the right level of madness.

He has some great dialogue

I have to say I really don't like Trevor. He may grow on me yet, but I just feel dirty playing as him in a way that I don't with the others.

Give it an hour, that bit IS dull, but you're just about to get the good stuff..

Look on the map for letter symbols in colour go to them and it'll unfold. Don't visit Tanya and you won't get tow truck missions.

At the beginning I didnt like Trevor either. However, now he is the best character. When you click on him after doing a little mission with one of the other characters Trevor is either kidnapping someone, running from the cops or shagging! What a life!

The massive dump truck things in the quarry by the dinosaur on the east coast are brilliant. Pretty slow, but untouchable. You just drive over the cop cars.

It's a bit big to take into town though.

Anyone stolen a learjet from the airport yet? It was brilliant fun, you get 3 stars as soon as you hit the runway and it's utter madness trying to get to a jet before you are killed.

Online is going to be great fun.

One of the first things I did it's great flying under bridges. MP should be a real laugh.

Hmm. I'm starting to bite here, but don't have a PS3. Looking on amazon UK they have a 500gb model bundled with GTA V for 200 quid. Now, i'm in Spain and even after factoring in euros and postage, it's still 50€ cheaper than here. Does it seem like a good deal? I don't need a second controller, don't really even want to play anything else (tho partial to RedDead action)...

Been watching ebay as well, and the Amazon UK bundle still seems cheap. 40 gig models with broken blu ray drives or overheating going for well over a ton.

Stuck on Trevor's meth shop mission at the moment. Tried to kill every one with my truck first time round until my son told me I'd have to shoot it out.

Relaxing after a busy day thefting and assassinating, I was browsing the GTA internet and trying to "friend" the barbers (as allegedly that gives you more hair/beard options). I failed to find them but did find www.pandmcycles.com where you can browse the full range of bikes.

The description of the Whippet is best - "this road bike will let people know you are serious about a sport made obsolete by combustion engines years ago. Get serious about working out by spending a lot of money on gear right now."

Stealth here...defo need to choose your team carefully too.

I went for stealth too with the mid-price hacker, that gave enough time to grab everything.

Has anyone replayed the heist a second time, and if you do do you get another $4 mil to share out?

Guns blazing for me was an excellent mission.

If you redo missions it doesn't alter the game whatever you did and got the first time counts. At least that's how I understand it.

I stole a jet easily. Ram the gates, drive past the buildings, look for a jet and get in as normal. Takes about 30s, not long enough to pick up any real heat. You lose your stars easily enough, the copper choppers can't match your speed.

Don't run as soon as you respawn here- look around and you'll see a little slope, trees at the top. Go up the slope and you can see the house ahead. Get your sniper rifle out and you can take out 5 or 6 of the meth heads. Some others get alerted; take them out with the sniper rifle too. From there, you can sneak into the house; there are 3 or 4 more to deal with; just use cover and a shotgun. Then its downstairs....one last guy to take out!

*assuming the respawn points are the same for everyone.

The iFruit app seems to have a bug where you get logged out, and when you log in again it's reset all your progress with Chop. Which is a bit shit. Going to uninstall it.

Thanks guys, yep, I quickly worked out to hang back a lot and let them come to me. When they stopped doing that I gradually moved in and picked them off. Easy really. I've done quite a few Trevor missions now. Dressed him up nice and smart too. Flying about the place in his plane. Yes, we'll change him.

Using trevor and just run into franklin out of the blue and franklin asked if i wanted to hangout with him...totally surreal moment.

you can buy parachutes in ammunation once you have completed the cargo plane mission.

I having trouble with the BASWAQ I can't access it meaning I can't invest in company shares before I take out their rival. Supposed to be fixed but I've still had no luck.

Edit: Fixed now with a resync of my PSN account and a reboot.

Not tried BASWAQ as never reset my PSN account since the hacking scandal...you can still make money through LSN though...made a whack on one of lesters jobs.

You can but not all shares are on there the BASWAQ has some of the others.

I guess thats why i missed out on the pharmacy company job.
