I went for an extremely enjoyable cx ride this evening, thought about posting on there, but ... dunno, this
place is fine for it really.

Joined as my alter ego chilipapa. Thing is I don't have discs on my crossed, so I might have signed up under false pretences.

I'm in.

Can we have a 'tarmac.road' site next for real cyclists please?

Can we not have a site for those that are just not sure what surface to ride on?

There's a logic to merging all the forums into one GoFar megasite, with road / gnarl / stw / chat as subforums. But other magazines don't do that, you don't get Future Publishing's forums with SFX rubbing shoulders with Edge.

Bikeradar kind of does though, although theirs is more aligned by area and less by mag.

TBH having been over to Grit.cx it all looks a bit grey and uninspired, doubt I'll ever post there, when here covers a wider rang of cycling.

Worth maybe pointing out that grit.cx is currently blocked by websense, probably as it's not categorised yet - worth maybe applying to them (I'm assuming they have some way of submitting your new sites to speed things up)

...and this is why Mrs Junkyard does all the form filling.

Re registered mine.

I guess listing my real name as Kirk St. Moritz may have caused a registration issue. Either that or I spelled my email address incorrectly.
