Had to put a new chip in my phone so am currently downloading very slowly 5000 songs over wifi . God knows how long that will take.
Is there a really easy way of putting the chip in my MacBook and dragging the music to it?

dunno, make sure you've checked high quality before you go much further though.

Why not just plug the phone into the computer?

I take it the SD card is a micro? If so, you can get full size adaptors which will allow you to put it directly into the SD card slot on your Macbook.

I can get the chip in my MacBook ,how do I proceed from there?
I’ve tried double twist and all that stuff but I don't want to have to keep putting my chip in every time I get a new song.
So I want to stick with Google Play.

I put my card it my laptop and found the music files but they were named randomly with figures so you couldn't work out which was which until you played it.

I wanted to put my not owned but downloaded music on ITunes but I couldnt do it

Also anyone know why my sd card randomly wipes itself clean on occasions particularly if I've been on a run with my phone

So I want to stick with Google Play.

I never found a "good" way of doing it other than waiting for it to download.

It's is why I went back to iphones in the end.

66 mb just finished downloading.
Less an hour on my commute.
I backed up my previous card , it did all my pictures but no music.
What did I do wrong?
