Yup, in about 1 and a half hours I will be waving the 30's goodbye and embrace the 40's. And it is on April Fool's day as well... Must say, it will have its advantages, like being able to enter as a Master at the xc races and not having to fend of the 20 and 30 somefinks. May be a false hope cos I've seen the masters and vets race and they are blinking fast!

Ok, I am 'only' 36, but it doesn't feel any difference to being 26 to be honest.

That is not the question of 30s leaving for 40s. It is about how comfortable are you in life? i.e. do you have enough money?

Welcome to the club. I'm 41 now and still as rubbish at everything as when I was 21. I'm just more accepting of my failures now 🙂

I'm 41. I look in the mirror I see the same old bloke looking back at me, tee shirt, jeans; no different from when I was 10-15 years younger. attitude's the same, still riding, still skating...

I'm 44. Sorry, my body is 44.

I still think I'm 18 and the best drummer on the planet, and U2 will be supporting my new band on our next world tour

As it's April 1st, I have 24 more days of being a 30-something. 30s were good, finishing them fitter and faster than I started, looking forward to my 40s.

Starting as I mean to go on, with the Rutland Sportif on my birthday.

And Happy Birthday for today, btw
