Golf ? GOLF ??? I once rode across a golf course. I thought the people were waving, but it turned out they were shaking their fists :o) The 18th hole was dead smooth...

Fairway world?

You can just imagine the exciting threads:
What club for?
Show me your putters.
Bag or trolley?
Bunkers - why do they scare me so much?

I seem to recollect that MTBing was likened to golf - middle aged blokes spending a fortune on kit for a hobby they're not very good at, weekends away with a bunch of mates, MTB 'widows' etc, etc.......................not that I'd subscribe to such a view, of course. My teenage sons rebellion against his father was to take up the game of golf!. 👿

Half the people I see mountain biking look like they should play golf which will probably be the next hobby they try, followed next week by something else.God I wish the hills were empty like they were 25 years ago

what is really funny is that they try and big up the exercise benefits ....... you can't call anything a sport if you can smoke a cigar whilst participating

I have been in bands that do function gigs at golf clubs and they are the biggest bunch of losers.

Golf is a great game, don't knock it until you try it. There are a lot of similarities between golfers and mountain bikers (stwers)

Back to the OP try Golf Punk http://www.golf-punk.com/

Sadley my golfing was terminated by a mountainbiking related shoulder injury.

Great game when you are playing well. ****-awful when you are slicing every drive.
