The summer holidays have arrived and I'm off next week, looking at day trips and want to do Go Ape again, having previously done Bracknell.

So, of the Southern sites, any that are really good? Any not so good, and worth avoiding?

Trying to gauge from the website, but I think the site maps might be a little misleading. My eldest daughter and myself, like the more extreme challenges, and will opt for the difficult options, not so fussed about zip wires, so don't need long zip wires.

Chessington and Southampton are looking good, daughter really likes the look of Wendover - bit of a drive, but I'm happy with that for the right one.

Thanks for any advice.

We really liked the one at Alice Holt. The one at Tilgate (Crawley) doesn't look so good and there is a very popular one at Leeds caste in Kent.

If you end up SW, Tamar Trails is ace and is run by a really nice bloke.

Wendover's local to me - looks very much like Bracknell
