I want to give something different to the usual swiss army knife/leatherman/hip flask.

Any suggestions for gifts for the boys? (only one of them is a cyclist).

I got my best man a nice hip flask, had his initials engraved on it and filled it up with brandy.

[edit] didn't ready your post properly [/edit]

Could do with some photos of the bridesmaids in order to ascertain just how generous you'll need to be

When I was best man for my brother I had no idea a present was the norm, totally shocked me by buying me a really nice silver chain, which I now wear all the time and it reminds me of them, which is great.

A pack of decent cigars and one of those new Zippo lighters that uses gas not petrol?

Punternet gift voucher?

I gave my best man and ushers a hipflask full of single malt before the ceremony. I thought it was a nice idea and so did they, although half of them had polished off the contents of the hip flasks before the ceremony was finished!

When did this tradition of buying stuff for ushers and best man start? They are your mates/relatives, and will undoubtedly be pleased to do it for no reward.

Get em nowt, weddings are expensive enough as it is.
