Hi

Forming small music room in the garage

I need shelving for

A couple of amps
paperwork
General debris
Lava lamps

These wont all be the same I'm sure

Anything I need to look at before popping down to ikea

Have a look on the Big Dug shop on eBay. Lots of different types of shelving available, all better quality than ikae.

This sort of stuff for example, available in different heights/widths.

Depends if you want pretty or functional

Big dug stuff looks good

I was fortunate to have some unwanted car parts racking donated which is uber strong and fit in the space I need perfectly

Big dug stuff is sturdy for storage but will vibrate if you are listening to music in there.

What ever you install you want to try to install it with isolation from the floor and walls, a couple of paving slabs under it and on the bottom shelves should help.

Slotted uprights and brackets from screwfix screwed into wall. Ply cut to size. Sturdy, changeable and relatively cheap.
