We need a new garage door. Nothing flash, just a manual up+over that is reasonably secure. The budget is £800-£1000, delivered. Friendly local builder will do the fitting.
Where do I start looking? The ones from the usual suspects (Jewson/Wickes/homebase etc) seem a cheap and nasty.

After some scroat ruined mine and helped himself to my bikes I've just had a new garage door installed.
Its just a standard up and over in white and looks fine. It was supplied and fitted by a local company for £550.
A steel roller shutter door with remote control costs less than £800.
Garador , we had a side hinged one fitted with a normal width daily use door so we didn't show the whole contents every time we opened it . £600.00 ish supply and fitted .
