I'm considering buying one of the new HTC Magic mobile phones from Vodafone next month.
£35/month gets unlimited internet/date, etc., and enough minutes & texts as I tend to use.
Anyone got any thoughts on whether there's anything else to get? ❓
I've got a Windows mobile at the mo, which is [i]ok[/i], but I don't use the sliding keyboard! 3G coverage is a bit flakey too where I live.
Ideally i'd like a newer, smaller, version of the N95, but I don't like the N96 and the N97 will be too expensive.
And NO I don't wan't an iphone either! 😆
T-mobile g1 - similar deal. Phone works well but battery life not brilliant
g1 seconded - had one about a month, great phone, lots of free apps. battery life not great, especially if you go mad for the internet/GPS on the move. as a regular phone you'll probably get 36 hours if you're dead frugal.
I like the keyboard on mine- makes text/typing much quicker.
Not sure about G1 - first of all I need to stay on vodafone for reception where I live, and i can't afford to buy an unlocked phone upfront.
Also, 36hrs battery life is crud & not good enough for what I need.
