On the Lakes thread someone mentioned the lakes motor museum - this is exactly the kind of thing my Father in Law would like, but the Lakes is a long way from South Wales.
So what else is good?
If its the one at backbarrow its very expensive for what it is IMHO.

The one at the Jaguar LandRover factory off the M40. Bit nearer your postcode.
Didn't do the museum bit, just stopped off in there for a cuppa as a change from motorway service stations.
But it looks pretty spectacular if you're into cars of any vintage.
People are skirting around this pencil museum idea.
Whilst the Lake District is a long way from South Wales, surely the prospect of a pencil museum would help ease the suffering of the long journey?
He's into old British cars, so the Jag one could be a hit.
