Just this week ive seen two different un marked cars a vauxhall and a ford with a printed FIREFIGHTER ON CALL lying on the dash. There was no smoke to be seen, city centre parking is so expensive for even just 15 mins but dont blame me if you do get a ticket

Right, thanks for letting us know. Why would they blame you if they get a ticket?

sign is worthless, I'd report them to the local fire service and or police for misuse.

I know of some of our retained colleagues who have LED signs in back of their car to excuse their shit driving going to stn 🙄

Who do we blame?

Is it Corbyn for going to Glastonbury?

I once parked in the family-with-child spaces because I still had the child seat in the back of the car but no child! Craziest thing I've done in years.

(Even if it was at 10 o'clock in the evening.)

I'm sure they're not but reporting them just seems fairly petty, unless it's specifically harming an individual in some way then what would you gain from doing that?

Very doubtful they are FS employees, if they are they bringing the service into disrepute.

Its just one of the things we're not allowed to do, unless its an emergency. If it was they would have blues on roof and there would be other appliances there.

The cutbacks haven't hit that hard that we are sending guys in cars to investigate fires......yet!

Just buy a Rolls Royce.

Working in Mayfair at the moment and it seems they just get abandoned anywhere on double yellows.

Had to make a delivery in the work transit so drove up the pavement with about a 3" gap which soon got the driver to move!
