Hi all,
Want to make a slide show of a portfolio of images, with captions (either below or to the side) of the images. I want to be able to send a link to it to someone, so they can view it on their PC with minimal hassle
As few adverts/clutter as possible.
First thought is to make a Picasa album as I know you can make slideshows, and they don't look too bad. However, it would be connected to my Gmail account/Google Plus etc etc, and I'd rather the slideshow was independent.
So any thoughts? Done a quick google but most of the ones I've found are tacky and full of adverts..

I would just create a new gmail account and picasa album.
Will Dropbox not work?

Druidh, that won't give a slideshow with captions though, just a bunch of images they have to download.
Cheers, I can't just upload the images as slides and add captions can I? I'd have to make the slides have the captions too right?

Don't think so, just download open office if you don't have ms office.
I do have MS Office, just trying to find the simplest option 😛
How about creating a wordpress site. Just find a template that matches what you are trying to do. Takes a few minutes, it'll be easy to edit and access from anywhere.
