How expensive is it to travel around? I have accommodation but need to get a ferry then from north to south. Is it worth it or shall i spend another 2 weeks camping in the rain in blighty?

If you were on a bike, with a tent, stopping at municipal campsites away from the tourist hotspots it would be very inexpensive....and excellent...and two weeks wouldn't be enough.

Ferry will be the most expensive part, motels etc. are much cheaper over there

I'd get a train from North to South if I didn't have a car, or drive if I did. Ferry's not the cheapest option by a very long way.
