Think of the assumptions you've made there. That the other road user was some enraged nutter and that your own behaviour was angelic. It may have looked innocent to you but concerned motor vehicles on a bicycle forum - a provocation in itself. And then you make up the rule that other forum users should not take the mickey out of ranting motorcyclists and start another thread to express your annoyance.

I meant that the thread was about MY road rage. I was the one fuming at the keyboard, the motorcyclist was just feeling quietly superior, by the look of it.. And the other thread was a pure joke, not meaning to be annoyed at anyone at all.

Btw the only reasons I posted the original thread were a) catharsis b) cos I thought it'd provide another idle talking point, and c) there might be some comedy pisstaking banter. In the event that was restricted to comedy cross-posting on the foaming piss thread 🙂

I don't fight. Most of the folk I argue with on here I would be happy enough to meet. A couple of them I wouldn't want to meet at all tho.

I very rarely argue in real life.
There just seems to be a far higher proportion of people who are wrong on the internet.
It's my moral duty to correct them.

This is the Internet, taking it seriously is unwise and a sense of humour an asset with or without smilies.

Ha, there was me thinking I was about the get flamed for my cross thread attempt at comedy and the only person it could/should have upset got the tongue in cheek nature of it. Thanks Molgrips, no offence intended (and none taken at this thread).
