The forum search box has been temporarily removed while we work out why it was causing the site to grind to a halt. In the meantime there's a temporary Google powered forum search here that you can use while we fix the proper one.

Just keep the Google one, it works.
I mostly use Google anyway, as in
Site:singletrackworld.com [search word]
Works dunnit.
We won’t replace the search until we are sure it’s better than this temporary Google search.

The forum search has rarely ever given me useful result, unless I want a thread from 9 years ago*
Google site search has always been the better bet, and that's woeful.
