Today I received a pair of size 40.5 bike shoes which were on sale. I was going to order size 41 but by the time I got around to it they'd sold out, so I ordered the 40.5 more in hope than expectation. They fit perfectly. Doubtless if I'd got the 41 I'd be thinking they were a bit loose but about right.
This is an almost unique occurrence for me, usually my procrastination results in me missing out. Please give me some other tales of fortuitous procrastination.
I'd have not met my wife if I decided I couldn't be bothered to revise for my A-levels and then couldn't be bothered to go to university the next year and take two gap years instead.
