Can anyone suggest somewhere relatively safe and not too expensive to leave a car in Fort William? Will be riding for 5 days or so. Cheers!
You can use a couple of the main car parks, such as the lochside one. £1.50 per day for as long you like.
We left the van there for 8 days while we did the West Highland Way with no problems. But it is a public car park with no security so you are taking a chance.

WE parked here for 5 days while paddling the Great Glen Canoe Trail.
Recommended in the guide to the trip. There is a sign saying no overnight parking* but we asked the lock keeper and he said ignore it.
Didn't pay and it was fine.
Well used so reasonably safe.
* I imagine this is actually meant for campervans.
