too painful to use personally, even though i'm sure it'd be good for certain muscle groups

Okay, what've you done with Jamie?

That's almost a useful first post! So I just need to use them more?

Initially, yes.

I think they always hurt like crazy, it's just that your pain threshold increases with repeated use...

I find the pain levels vary depending on how sore/tight/tired my muscles are. My quads are usually fine, IT bands usually hurt when using it.

Learn to love the pain, you are going to need to make friends with pain for the summer 😆

It's that kind of pain that's quite, erm, 'nice'.

Like a vigorous sports massage that you can feel doing you good, even though your eyes are watering.

Me too, in a good sort of way 8)

Btw, if its really sore on the roller, support more of your bodyweight with your hands/arms and lean a little lighter on the roller...i've got OTT with the roller before and my legs hurt loads the next day, not in a good way either!

It's going down this weekend. Spent a week testing several. Defy 2 I am thinking. Just order some bits and pieces, pedals/pump/tubes etc, at the mo.

Back to foam rollers I might need to get mine out later. Legs kill from doing squats yesterday....
