Grr. Came home from work to find one of my lovely neighbours had decided that the back of our (admittedly unkempt) garden was the perfect site for them to dump some poly bags and a trug full of plants and soil they've obviously dug up that day.

It's at the end of a private road (lock up garages) and is clearly the driveway to someone's house, albeit as I said we have a rather large and unruly plantation of bamboo (horrible stuff!!) which separates the garden from the drive. That said, our own garage is right next to it so it was obvious it isn't waste land.

I suspect I know who it is, as we've had encounters previously with someone who's recently moved in using our driveway and the access to remove rubbish from her house, despite being repeatedly told it's private property and in vehicular use all the time.

I suppose I wouldn't have minded so much if it was just the organic waste - at least I could have just chucked it in the compost, but now I have to empty all the bags and take them to the dump as well. Lazy arseholes.

Does anyone have a good source of cheap autonomous minigun turrets?

Return it to where it came from. Just leave it on the front step.

That’s what I did when a neighbour at the back (on a different street) thought it was ok to dump his grass cuttings and garden waste in bags over the fence, into the trees/bushes at the end of our garden (I left them to rot for a few weeks in the heat first)

Took them back during the day (8 bags) and he watched me unloading the van into his front garden through an upstairs window 😂

It was very satisfying, and it never happened again.

If you know who it was then surely all you need to do is to return their property to them?

A cheery "I believe this is yours!" should suffice.

Key point is "I suspect", not that I have proof. I've considered the wildlife cam in the past when another neighbour decided to let his dogs shit all over our driveway. Perhaps now is the time to invest in one...

I was hoping this would be a thread asking for advice on where to dump a neighbour who made you snap.

Seriously though I’d just go knock on their door, ask them if it’s their waste and ask them to remove it.

I was hoping this would be a thread about a cruel and heartless neighbour who was in in the habit of sneaking up on unsuspecting , sleeping insects and pushing  them over to gain entertainment from their confusion and distress.

Is disappoint.

I was hoping it would be a thread about living next-door to a young Jeff Goldblum who was doing sterling service in a cafe and deserving more than his default 10% extra.
