I am flying out with easyjet this weekend, I am only taking hand luggage.

I need to take a suit, would I be allowed to carry this on along with the hand luggage as I dont want to put in the bag....

So long as there aren't large bottles of liquid, gas cans, guns, knives or anything that could remotely be construed as having weapon like properties then you'll be fine.
So long as you've packed it yourself obviously. And not let it out of your sight.

Depends. Will you be taking off from a conveyor belt?

If the suit is in a bag they may get awkward

If it's just in one of those dry cleaners bags you should be OK

You can roll it up yes? So it _will_ fit in the overhead locker and you can prove it will too.

They'll be fine.

Wear the jacket & pop the trousers in your hand luggage...
(Assuming your definition of suit is a "normal" suit.)

If its a suit of Armour you might be in trouble.

Normally it's one piece of hand luggage. They will turn you away and make you check it in if you have more than one bag at security.

I would've thought this would be the best place to make such an enquiry...

I did read through the easy jet site and attempted to call them, in the end I found live chat and they wont take the suit along with hand luggage...only 1 piece is allowed...
