We will be in touch
Im going to set up a scheme at work that will allow my employees to pick the benefits we offer to suit their needs. So, for example you could have more holidays and less pay, or more pay and less medical insurance, or more pension and less holiday etc. That sort of thing.
Has anyone got some examples of such schemes that I could look at to see how they work and what values people put on the various benefits they get ?
OK, so no one has any ideas - I will just have to google it.
Is this your dummy on the floor?
Anyway...flex benefits. We have
PMI
Life Insurance
Critical Illness Cover
Health check-ups
C2W
Holiday purchase/ sale
Childcare Vouchers
Employee discount scheme for various retailers
Travel Insurance
I think they use a company called Thomson Online Benefits to do this for us here at work. I'm not sure how much detail they have on their website as we use a completely seperate portal website to go and change our benefits package...
Hope that's at least some help...
Cheers chaps, yup, that was my dummy on the floor.
holiday trading, dental insurance, critical illness insurance, childcare vouchers, bikes for work, a will writing service, travel insurance, additional life insurance, health check and a tax return service. Core employer-funded benefits, such as private medical insurance, can be extended to cover employees' family members through flex.
*carefully places dummy back in trimixs' mouth*
We get supermarket vouchers, £1 costs 90p and you get NI relief too I think. I also get £150K critical illness cover for £11.50 a month
I get 3% of my salary in flexible benefit, and you can do loads:
Private Medical Cover
Voluntary Private Medical Insurance
Private Dental Insurance
Health Screening
Health Cash Plan
Elemis Spa Pod
Elemis Day Spa
AA Membership
Magazine Subscriptions
Travel Insurance
Legal Services
Wine Club
Holidays
Airport Lounge
Retail Vouchers
2 for 1 Tickets
Pension
Tax Advice
Financial Counselling
Critical Illness Cover
Charity
FlexSA Cash (89% of amount shown is paid as cash)
We can also make pension AVC's via salary sacrifice i.e. before tax/NI which saves employees and employer ££££.
+ all the stuff boardingbob has mentioned.
Mmmm, good ideas. I fancy topping up the bike to work scheme. But to keep me happy Id have to top it up to around 3k.
