Not sure why I'm posting - anyone else had similar......
Got a letter, out of the blue, from Scottish gas yesterday. They've decided to write off £282 (the current debit balance on the account) because they hadn't amended our direct debit amount a year ago when they realised we weren't paying enough.
I keep checking the letter to make sure it's real.

I suspect a regulator made them but good news 🙂
