Sorry that doesnt help really. I used to think firefox was ace until that started happening a lot and it taking absolutely ages to open! Swapped to google chrome at that point and have never gone back.
Not happening here - I'm just downloading 4.0 now, which may fix it for you - spiel says it's 6x faster than version 3
I'm back on 3.6.7 now due to 4.0 causing me endless issues.
Dad was the same, but others on here had no problems.
