For some reason STW is not rendering properly in Firefox but other sites are okay e.g. BBC. I seem to get the pictures at the botton on the left and different gaps between threads.

It is okay in I.E.7 but I don't like using I.E.

I re-installed Firefox yesterday but not sure if this caused the problem!

Is anyone else experiencing the same glitches?

I actually watched that at the 'pictures', ahem with my Dad.

Sometimes when I click a thread I get dozens of blank tabs opening, but that's not exclusive to this site entirely. And I update regularly.

try running it in safe mode.

Some extensions don't like STW

works fine here, try disabling all your add-ons and turn them on one at a time, just to rule them out.

Tools>Add-ons...

After 2 weeks on google chrome I couldn't go back to firefox.

Why? I tried it when it came out but FF seemed the better product then.

STW in Firefox 3.0.6 is making the CPU on my MacBook go loopy this afternoon - it's definitely this site as when I closed it and looked at something else for a bit, the Activity Monitor dropped right back to normal and the screaming fan of death gave in after a while too...

Hey mudshark, I just find the chrome to be a much cleaner interface, marginally quicker for the things that I do. Also when you open a new tab recently viewed and favourite websites are shown which is a brilliant feature, using space otherwise wasted.
