We have been to Neuschwanstein.. Well we went up to it but it coat way too much to get in, and was horrifically busy. Plus, it's a fake.
No molgrips, I can assure you it's made from real stone, real wood and real gold. Or are you saying it's not a real fairy tale castle?
Romantic folly by mad king, barely 100 years old, that became nothing more than a tourist attraction almost as soon as it was built.. Doesn't do it for me..

I've been to Carcassonne (and played the Carcassonne board game there). It's lovely, you should go.
