Anyone use one? Do you go with or against the grain, so to speak?

My mum gave me a beard trimmer/grooming set thing, which includes an eyebrow trimming attachment, and I have tentatively used it since my eyebrows are getting bushy as I age. Thing is, if I go WITH the grain not a lot happens, but when I started to go against the grain it sounded like it was trimming loads off so I stopped...

I go against the grain and as long as you're not too zealous it works fine.

do one and if you don't like it, leave the other.

Get your hairdresser to do it. It's obvious when they are trimmed with clippers.

Brush against the grain to get the long ones to stick out. Trim just the longs ones.

This is what the barber did to me which was a bit of a shock as I hadn't asked him to and didn't realise I had bushy eyebrows.

Just shave them off then draw them in with a pencil - can get exactly what you want then.

Against the grain: assuming it has a little guard thing then that prevents you cutting them too short.

May I offer the suggestion of a pair of tweezers?

Would plucking the offending 'longies' now and again be deemed too effeminate for such a male-dominated forum?

I'd have none left if I tried plucking!

Too painful

everyone knows those particular hairs are connected to your ring piece, try pulling one out & see what I mean 🙂

You can get them tattooed on nowadays. What's the world coming too?! Not got crazy eyebrows or ear hair yet but I'm slightly concerned that I'm not yet 30 and have a forest growing out of my nose!!

My mrs plucks my mono brow for me. How she can do her whole eyebrows I do not know

🙂 Yep and some nasal hairs seem to be rooted directly from the brain stem!
