Is it possible to find the MODE of a set of values in a Pivot table?

Excel 2010?

Yes - http://spreadsheets.about.com/od/excelfunctions/qt/20080203_mode.htm

where the range is the values you need from the pivot table.

Hmmm only calc field is sum as far as I can see

Edit: Sorry, I read it as wanting to calc within the pivot table

Thanks, but thats for standard cell formulae. Option of MODE is not available in the Pivot table, which is where I want to apply it, which is a whole other ball game

Well you either want the mode of a range of values, or the mode of the values output from the pivot table no?
If its the latter and you can't perform the mode function on the PT output directly, then populate a series of adjacent cells with the output from the PT.

As geoffj says.

Simply copy data into a new range of adjacent cells then apply MODE to it.

Is it a routine you'll be doing frequently? Write some code that does it for you.

Doing stuff to the PT output can be tricky / unpredictable.
I usually use another sheet and just reference the PT output as a series of cell e.g. ='Master Payments Sheet'!A14 and copy down to cover the range.
You can usually perform any function on that series of cells.
