Just watched the first two stages on sky plus. I am really surprised at how candid the commentary is regarding riders who may or may not have doped in the past (ahem). I can't recall who it was they were talking about, but they described one rider as a 'shadow of his former self' (possibly Ivan Basso), and stated that another rider had appeared 'almost superhuman at times' in previous seasons. Could this be the start of a new level of honesty in the sport?

Agree - wasn't really listening but he was obviously having quite a go
Seems a bit odd that showing remorse seems to make doping "OK" in his eyes though
