A friend of ours was complaining the other day how she'd been promised a jumbo sausage and was given a chipolata, proper disappointed she was.

Bad press like what? Takeaways like what?

Be a bit more specific!

Try em and make your own mind up. Some are good some are bad. The best curry house I've been to is somewhere I would have never walked into had I not been taken there but the curry guru.

We get too hung up by food in this country, check out what other cultures eat and we are very conservative in what we eat

Last time I was in London went to a little (bit grubby) restaurant full of Chinese people, with lots of interesting proper Chinese food on the menu - and the Western couple behind us ordered chow mein. Guess we have only ourselves to blame 😕

The English takeaways are OK. It's the Chinese ones you need to look out for.
