Anyone know any good recruitment companies or contacts? I'm a mechanical building services engineer with 5 years experience and a mech eng degree.
Thanks,
Matt
I'm in the same industry, a bit older though 😳
I'd be interested if you find anything out!
i s'pose ill join the club as im a lot younger (mech eng) and looking for a year in industry 😀
Not much help I'm afraid but I think that using IES is a very transferable skill.
Plenty of foreign types doing it at Arup anyway.
That's good as I use IES daily and also Revit (3D modelling).
Bumb for the morning people.
Not Vancouver but in F1 racing development in Milton Keynes.
Nowt to do with me.... just saw it and then saw this thread.
Not sure the morning people would appreciate being "bumbed" 🙂
count me in...missed the olympics there, gutted.
Surely a load of uk mtb engineers could go over and invent stuff whilst doing 'research' on the north shore? We could wear tweed and drink tea?
When I checked it you need to be a chartered engineer to sign off any drawings over there.
There's a Rolls-Royce plant in Vancouver . Different sought of engineering though.
