I use BT mail for work but have a Sky Broadband line at home, it wont allow me to send BT outgoing e-mail through the Sky server.
The Sky technical people are clueless and have pigeon English and it is very difficult to resolve.
Should I get Sky to whitelabel the BT server?
The only way I can get mail out is by using the Vodafone wireless modem with the send.vodafone.net used as the outgoing server?
I have tried teh sky settings but it makes the mail bounce back.
Help!!!!
It's pretty common for mail providers to allow access to their smtp servers through their own pipes. There is probably nothing Sky can do anything about it. You would have to get BT to allow access.
If you want that sort of access, use gmail, hotmail or yahoo or something.
Oh and their pidgin English probably had bugger-all to do with it.
