Numpty question here.
I have just changed internet provider to BT. I am trying to set up BT as my outgoing server on Outlook and on my Mac. What exactly do I put in the SMTP box? I thought it would be my new email address but it isn't.

mail.btinternet.com ??

The SMTP server is the server you send your mail through.
It's probably the same as your outgoing (POP3) server address.
Try mail.btinternet.com

Try the above. If not the BT broadband site will have a Q+A. Put in POP settings or something like that and you'll find it
