Tomorrow is looking the best day so it's definitely up and out for some pedals early Friday, so longs there are no cheeky beers entered into tonight. Friends round Saturday then watch the rain no doubt sun/mon. However just looking forward to some time off as I've not had a day spare since Christmas.

Ridden once in 2016 I don't see this weekend making for the second time!

Catching up with family for the most part and suspect some walking, Monday is possible but may do a trail run instead we will see how the time pans out

Those out riding enjoy 🙂

Well spotted Drac.

's my caravan site, innit! We've had a van on the site for nearly 20 years.

I've agreed to go riding with a pair of shonky northerners who run a trouser company (of all things) The riding will probably be shockingly bad I expect. Then for some reason I've let myself be talked into going to some single screen old cinema to watch some ancient old mountain bike films, Gloam? Seasoning? something like that, they'll be shit probably. Then I'll go to the pub,

rubbish really

Off up for my only lakes trip this year. No bikes but a few walks and some decent beer. Back next week to build up a new to me road bike frame and reconfigure the Stanton to 1x10. Should be doing DIY on my new house but balls to that!

No riding cos I'm nursing a massive, hurty hole in my head from a tooth extraction, no strenuous exercise allowed or bad things will happen.

Then it gets really nasty with a visit to the inlaws on Monday. Frankly I'd rather have another tooth out but apparently that's not an option. 😐

The sound of my breath panting, snot dribbles, gears shifting and mud/rain splashes.
Riding, riding all four days.

Got the US family arriving - which scrubs two days of possible riding out. Have promised to take out my better half for her first ride since getting a new hip 5 weeks ago, so that will be a gentle potter down the canal. And with a long list of jobs the promise to myself to get for a decent ride for the first time in 2016 is starting to look very unlikely

Working through the Easter weekend: Currently ripping up most of the rail track at Maidenhead Station. We've got to relay ~350m of track including new S&C before tuesday so had better keep going.

The big 4-0 for me Sunday so going to have a stomp to some hard house Saturday night, big easter lunch at the SiL's Sunday and then something with my sisters on Monday.

Today Mrs Danny is at work so I'm just chilling with the boy waiting for an eBay purchaser to turn up and then I'll be taking him to the fire engine museum...

I'm with work in Buenos Aires, so lots of Malbec and last night was a 1kg T-bone flame grilled. Today I'm taking my bike to the local velodrome for some training laps with the locals - apparently today is ladies day - BOOM!!

I get home Sunday morning and a big family roast is planned - pretty good all in.

My wife's managed to ruin the whole weekend by arranging family lunches Sat, Sun & Mon. And because of how her family do lunch it means leaving home at 10am and not getting back until tea time, thus wiping out the entire day.

Bah.

Spa hotel for 2 nights near shrewsbury as a treat for my heavily preggers wife. Saturday a trip to Ironbridge to step back in time with my 5yr old. Drop in on the inlaws for lunch on Sunday on the way back. Tidying and cleaning monday with the possibility of a local ride early evening if I've been a good boy.
