I' sure someone here is an expert on the above^^

I need to replace a really tiny E-Clip as seen on the picture below.

Do you reckon this ebay e-clip will fit ?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5MM-EXTERNAL-E-CLIPS-CLIP-CIRCLIP-DIN6799-pack-20-/270661240441?_trksid=p3284.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DMRU-220%252BUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D21%26pmod%3D271109173014%26ps%3D54

Any thoughts.

I don't think so.
I reckon that shaft has an OD of 2.4mm and the ID of the e-clip is 2.5mm.
Could be wrong.

It'll be less than that; the section where the circlip sits is thinner than the OD you can see. I'm guessing it's about the same as the black tip, which looks to be ~1.6mm.

From http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CLIPS-BITS?_trksid=p2047675.l2568 they do one:

10 x 1.5mm 2-2.5mm

That's the one you'd need, I reckon. If I were you though, I'd email them your picture and ask them the question.

Not cheap, are they?

Also,

There's a DIN standard for circlips? Who knew.

pop it off (carefully) and measure the diameter.

Or better still the groove diameter with some calipers.

Something like the 1.5mm should fit though by the looks of it.
