Aldi used to do some great ones but they now just taste like salted peanuts.

KP are almost acceptable. Lidl are rubbish .

Recommendations please.

We buy a big bag of plain almonds, soak them in hot water brine for 20 minutes then roast them for 20 minutes.

With a beer, chefs kiss!!

I always find that after a bag of dry roasted nuts washed down with a few Guinness you cold pebble dash a wall with them on the way out hence I tend to avoid them these days.

Marmite nuts for the win. Lidl sell them and they're amazing.

These bad boys are very good. I think they missed a trick in not calling them jalapeanuts though…

I also find dry roasted nuts hit or miss. Usually the cheaper store own ones taste nicer (in my experience).

My go to at the moment is black pepper cashews, nom.

Spar used to sell some awesome sweet chilli nuts, but sadly no longer do.

Not had any for years. Do they still employ someone to fart in the bag before it's sealed?

Asda ones don’t taste right.

The best nuts ever were the Ghost Ship beer nuts.

smoked almonds are pretty damned fine or theres some guy who go to the local farmers markets that does honey coated cashew nuts that are divine (& ridiculously don't sell them online).

.. has no one found any decent dry roasted peanut then?

Tesco's own aren't bad, until you get to the last bits in the salty dust at the end of the packet.

M&S dry roasted peanuts are very nice. A bit like Pringles in that, once you pop, you just can't stop.

I need a more middle size bag.

Don't often get to eat peanuts due to my wife's nut allergy, so I take my chance to when she goes away but packets are either individual and too small to satisfy or for a party of 12 leading to dehydration issues as I try to consume them in the 24 hour windows available.

For the OP it's KP, as others are so hit and miss.
