Surprised he managed to get his memory card back TBH. Must have waited for it to float down the lava flow and fished it out with a stick.

I imagine if it's an FPV drone that is flown by a headset all the footage would be transmitted real time.

All drones these day transmit back to your phone/handset which record the footage by default. Minimum 720 I think on most so you don't get your 4k back but usable would be recovered.

Yes phone live records everything quadcopter does.

It can and will be used in evidence......

The quality is good enough for social media sharing.

I am however amazed the thermals didnt really have an impact on its flight path, my wee mavic would have been all over the place.
