I need to drive into central London, to the British Museum. What's the deal these days with congestion charges and emission charges? Any other things to be concerned about? I think parking on site is sorted.

Its easy to pay the congestion charge online; in advance, on the day or following day (most expensive option).
EDIT: Parking is the biggest hassle generally, I would make doubly sure you are sorted.
