MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
A clubman spec factory fresh 6R4.
Lancia Stratos - end of thread.
Octavia Estate - end of thread... 😀
Ducati 1098s
F40.
When I lived in Bavaria, there was a bloke in the town I lived in who owned a Delta Integrale in white with the Martini livery, white wheels, racing seats, the lot. I was mega jealous.
Too many dream cars to choose one...
Delta Integrale
Murcielago
Vanquish
Mustang
One of the silly Fiat 500s
RS6 avant
Original GT40
Some kind of large motor home towing a Brabus Smart car.
And just cos I've got an Ibiza, I'd love to get an Ibiza Cupra TDi (same version as mine) and see how far I could take it in terms of engine mods and suspension for mucking about on track days. There was a bloke on Seatcupra.net who had his up to 330 bhp.
I can't find the pic of it but there is a pre facelift Corolla TTE Compressor. It's the only one in the world and although not dream by anyone else's standard, given my history with T Sports it is to me.
400'ish - local specialist has a VRs at that but it eats gearbox main shafts...
Mk1 Escort RS2000
Mk2 Escort Mexico
Mk3 Escort RS1600i
Escort Cosworth (small turbo)...
...and a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo.
Early 911 in brown on Fuchs wheels. This upgraded beauty would be ideal - http://www.themotoringenthusiast.com/cars/sepia-t
AC Cobra 289.
Jaguar E type lightweight
Ford GT40
Citroen DS (not the current one, obviously)
Lotus Cortina Mk1
Bugatti Veyron

I went looking for a used Integrale when they were current. I always loved the look of Lancia Deltas, and although I only had a couple of short test rides, I remember them being fantastic - on a bumpy lane it felt like the wheels extended down and kept in contact with the road.
I also had a ride (passenger) in a Stratos replica - I can't remember much about that - I think it was fairly fast, noisy, and cramped.
However, my Land Rover Defender seems to be my 'dream car'. I don't really want for anything else - it would just be nice if they didn't corrode.
1954 300SL Gulwing Merc..... The ONLY sports car I have ever wanted
Mk1 Escort [s]RS2000[/s] Mexico
Mk2 Escort [s]Mexico[/s] RS1800
Escort Cosworth (small turbo)...
...and a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo.
And an Octavia estate (again) obviously
Jaguar F Type R
Brabus ML
Why are we still going?
The thread ended with Lancia Stratos.

Group B horn indeed.
What a shame that RS200 was stillborn.
The thread ended?
Just to reiterate
Mr P that Porsche is absolutely gorgeous, did you buy it? 😉
Old cars are IME a bag of bolts, I would rather have something like a VW Up but only if it was paid for buy someone else.
Mk 2 Ford Capri 3.0S surely?
NSR500 with screamer engine (and a team of HRC mechanic's to keep it running when I clog the plugs not having the bottle to ride it properly)
....and a DeLorean
and the 6 wheel drive Merc for going shopping and really fouling up the local school run (yes the white van man is very very angry as you have just stopped on a zebra crossing to let your little darling out!)
The Panoz was always crazily loud at Lemans.
My dream car would be 4 light Citroen Dyane with an 1100 BMW flat twin in it! Or a Type 35 Bugatti.
Probably a Toyota Landcruiser 😀
As a rule of thumb I would say never drive your dream (car).
As you may have guessed, I have an exception 😉
VW T5 Kombi with all the bits........nice.
Flame me all you like, but this is it

So you think they've all been posted then someone comes up with a STRATOS. I must now lie down.
Bear nc have ever driven a DB5 ? There a crap, you're average Hyundai is way better.
Johndoh, before I die I will own that car
It may be stunning, but if you have driven one in the wet at around (or a touch over) the speed limit on the tyres they used to have then you will understand why dream cars are not the cars you once dreamed of!
yeah but that's an eagle etype same top gear lap time as the v6 tt
I've always fancied a 7 ever since I was a slack jawed six year old watching a load of blokes rock up at Oulton Park in them. Not sure I'd fit in one though.
I was going to add a Porsche 917 to my post.
But I thought we were talking road cars.
Two pages and not a single F1. The pedal assembly is more beautiful than some of the cars posted here.
This is a sad reflection of the cheesy late 70's, early 80's when I was at most impressionable.
It might not beautiful but when I was about 8 years old this was the dream. I'd still have one..
In the same vein this was always awesome..

Luckily for my fledgling tastes my brother had one of these, which would be the first thing I get if the lottery lands in my lap.
They say never drive your dream.
Always liked the F40, so when I was offered a passenger run in one I jumped at the chance. Even better when I was offered to actually drive it! Did it match my expectations? Perfectly. Raw but smooth in every way, especially once you pass a ton 😀
Was offered a 355 at silly money during a lull in prices way back, had the cash available but for some reason I declined. Regretted that ever since.
Current wish list is a Nissan R390 or an early NSX.

The Panoz was always crazily loud at Lemans.
Yes, yes they were 😯 sadly good videos are few are far between
R390s were very cool to see race too (in between melting their oil coolers) but just looked a bit like.....well..... a Nissan in comparison 😉
TimC has it with the E30 M3 EvoIII but would I have black or red?
In South Africa you can still find rust free Ford Cortina pick ups with Essex 3litre V6 motors in, which sound beautiful.
Epic drift cars before drifting was invented.
Dodgy '80 brakes mean you need to plan your stops.
Moustache optional.
Sorry about all the posts haven't figure out how to attach stuff. A
Above is one I found which is worth about £2000.
The Panoz was always crazily loud at Lemans.
The sound is probably one of my most prominent memories. They made sleep difficult!
It was always a Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4x4 but recently its a Focus RS as that's more achievable due to them being newer.
A Guy who's a Mate of a Mate has Ferraris, Bentleys etc and they do nothing for Me, I'm a Chav at heart 😳 😉
