Went out with my mates on Thursday to the Prem darts in Brighton. It was a cracking night. Had too much to drink though and felt crap all day yesterday. So to punish me my Mrs wanted to go out Friday evening (all I wanted to do was lock myself away somewhere and rock myself to sleep). But we had a great time. chatting and putting loads of our favourite songs on the juke box. she also let me interfere with her when we got home. My so called "mates" don't let me do that kinda stuff to them
So both nights were great, but Mrs Muggo is the winner.

If your mates let you interfere with them would that give them the edge?

Very probably, but i worry that things would never be the same once we'd climbed that mountain.

If I want to go out for beers - mates (wife barely drinks)

If I want to go out for a meal and conversation - wife

My wife is pregnant at the mo, but she has always been a very competent rider and I really miss not being able to ride with her.We have a two year old boy too, we have a trailer and every conceivable accessory that allows us to ride out together with him, but I really miss the times when we used to be able to ride out for days or go on weekends away. Wouldn't not have kids because of it and I'm sure we'll be able to do it again someday. I have some great riding buddies but given the chance at the minute, I'd choose the wife
